Who are you?

I’m a macro social worker who picked up and moved from the Midwest to DC to work on policy stuff. I love reading, watching movies, and since leaving grad school just don’t have an excuse to push out lightly-edited first drafts.

I plan to write about books, movies, some light news as it relates to my areas of knowledge (mainly, social work, and homelessness, to an extent), and anything else I get to thinking about. I’ll probably write about stuff I see around town because I’ve found DC to be a pretty strange place at times.

The thoughts here are my own and do not reflect my employer or any group of which I am a part.
